John Cogley
John Cogley (1916-1976) was an American journalist and editor known for his work with Catholic publications like the Catholic Worker, Today magazine, and Commonweal, where he served as executive editor from 1949 to 1954. He advised John F. Kennedy's 1960 presidential campaign, authored a seminal 1956 report on blacklisting in Hollywood, and later converted to the Episcopal Church, becoming a deacon, as detailed in his 1976 memoir A Canterbury Tale.[1][2][3][7]
