John Carmel Heenan

John Carmel Heenan (1905-1975) was a prominent English Catholic prelate who served as Archbishop of Liverpool and later Archbishop of Westminster from 1963 until his death. Born in Ilford, he was educated at Ushaw Seminary and the Venerable English College in Rome, ordained in 1930, and elevated to the cardinalate in 1965.[1][3]
