John C. Sanford

John C. Sanford is an American plant geneticist and inventor known for co-developing the biolistic (gene gun) process for creating transgenic plants. He was a professor at Cornell University from 1980 to 1998 and is also known for advocating the pseudoscience of intelligent design and publishing on genetic entropy.
