John C Bogle

John C. Bogle, known as "Jack" Bogle, was an American investor, business magnate, and philanthropist who founded The Vanguard Group and helped popularize low-cost index investing. He is widely credited with creating the first retail index mutual fund and with shaping modern investing through his emphasis on low fees, diversification, and long-term discipline.
