John Brockington

John Leonard Brockington (1940-) is a British Sanskrit scholar who graduated from Corpus Christi College, Oxford, in 1963 with a B.A. (honors), later earning his M.A. and Ph.D. He joined the Sanskrit Department at the University of Edinburgh in 1965, advancing to professor of Sanskrit in 1998 and professor emeritus in 2005, while also serving as department head and in other administrative roles.[1][2][3]
