John Bolton

John Robert Bolton is an American attorney, diplomat, and political commentator known for his long career in Republican administrations and his hard-line foreign policy views. He served as U.S. ambassador to the United Nations from 2005 to 2006 and as national security adviser to President Donald Trump from 2018 to 2019; he later wrote the memoir *The Room Where It Happened*.
