John Berendt

John Berendt is an American author and journalist best known for the bestselling nonfiction book "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil," which was a finalist for the 1995 Pulitzer Prize in General Nonfiction. He also wrote "The City of Falling Angels," about Venice and the people he met there after the 1996 fire at La Fenice opera house.
