John B. Cobb Jr.
John B. Cobb Jr. is an American theologian and philosopher, best known for his work in process theology and process philosophy, influenced by Alfred North Whitehead. He has written extensively on ecological ethics, religious pluralism, and constructive postmodern thought, and co-founded the Center for Process Studies. Cobb has been a leading voice in integrating Christian theology with environmental and social concerns.
