John 1867-1941 Horsch
John Horsch (1867-1941) was a German-American Mennonite theologian, historian, and editor, born in Giebelstadt near Würzburg, Germany, as the fourth of nine children to Elder Jacob Horsch and Barbara Landes.[1][2] He immigrated to the United States, worked as an editor for Mennonite publications including at the Mennonite Publishing House in Scottdale, Pennsylvania from 1908 until his death, and authored key works on Mennonite history and theology.[1][2] He married Christine Funck and had four children, actively supporting Christian fundamentalism within the Mennonite Church.[1][2]
