Johannes Beetz

Johan Beetz (1874–1949) was a Belgian physician, surgeon, naturalist, painter, illustrator, and businessman who settled in Baie-Johan-Beetz, Quebec, in 1897. He is known for his work and life in northern Quebec, where the municipality Baie-Johan-Beetz was named in his honor.
