Johann Hari

Johann Eduard Hari (born 21 January 1979) is a British writer and journalist known for his New York Times bestselling books on depression, the war on drugs, technology's impact on attention, and anti-obesity medication, which have sold over two million copies in 40 languages. Born in Glasgow, Scotland, he moved to London as a child, studied Social and Political Science at King’s College, Cambridge, graduating with a Double First, and was twice named National Newspaper Journalist of the Year by Amnesty International. His career includes writing for The Independent until 2011, when he resigned amid plagiarism and fabrication scandals, and serving as executive producer for an Oscar-nominated movie and a TV series with Samuel L. Jackson.[1][2][3]
