Joe Nazel
Joe Nazel (Joseph Gober Nazel Jr., 1944–2006) was an American journalist, editor, and author known for writing more than 60 books, including biographies of Black luminaries such as Thurgood Marshall, Langston Hughes, and Paul Robeson. He worked with several Los Angeles-area Black newspapers and magazines and was widely credited with mentoring and promoting African American writers and artists.
