Jodi Daynard is an American author of historical fiction, including the trilogy starting with The Midwife’s Revolt, set during the American Revolution, as well as essays and short stories published in outlets like The New York Times Book Review and The Paris Review. She has taught writing at Harvard University, M.I.T., and Emerson College, and served as fiction editor at Boston Review for seven years. Daynard is a Lake Union Publishing author known for bringing women's stories from early American history to life.
