Joby Talbot

Joby Talbot is a British composer born in London in 1971, known for his work in ballet, opera, film, and television. He studied composition with Brian Elias and at institutions including Royal Holloway, Bedford New College, and Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Notable works include ballet scores like Chroma (2006), Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland (2011), The Winter’s Tale (2014), and operas such as Everest (2015) and The Diving Bell and the Butterfly (2023).
