Joan Johnston
Joan Johnston, born in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1948, is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of over 60 historical and contemporary romance novels with more than 15 million copies in print. Before becoming a full-time writer, she had an eclectic career as an attorney, newspaper editor, drama critic, theater director, and college professor, holding degrees including a B.A. in Theatre Arts from Jacksonville University, an M.A. from the University of Illinois, and a J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law. She divides her time between homes in Colorado and Florida.
