Jo Beverley
Jo Beverley (Mary Josephine Dunn) was an acclaimed English-Canadian author of historical and contemporary romance novels, born in Lancashire, England, who earned a degree in English history from Keele University before emigrating to Canada with her husband Ken in 1976. She wrote over 40 novels and numerous novellas, winning multiple RITA Awards from Romance Writers of America and Romantic Times Career Achievement Awards. Beverley returned to England later in life and passed away in Yorkshire on May 23, 2016, survived by her husband, two sons, and granddaughter.
