Jim Benton
Jim Benton, born October 31, 1960, is an American illustrator, cartoonist, and author known for creating popular licensed properties such as It's Happy Bunny, Franny K. Stein, and Dear Dumb Diary. His books have sold over fifteen million copies worldwide, been translated into more than fifteen languages, and earned numerous awards including Eisner nominations and Reuben divisional awards. Benton owns J.K. Benton Design Studio in Michigan and has worked in animation, clothing design, and children's literature.
