Jilliane Hoffman

Jilliane Hoffman is an American author of legal thrillers, born and raised on Long Island, New York, where she attended St. John's University, earning a B.A. in communications and a J.D. in 1992. She worked as an Assistant State Attorney in Miami-Dade from 1992 to 1996, prosecuting felonies, and then as Regional Legal Advisor for the Florida Department of Law Enforcement until 2001, before leaving to write full-time; her debut novel Retribution was published in 2004.[1][3][4]
