Jill Lepore
Jill Lepore is the David Woods Kemper '41 Professor of American History at Harvard University and Professor of Law at Harvard Law School, as well as a staff writer at The New Yorker since 2005. A two-time Pulitzer Prize finalist and acclaimed historian, she is known for her meticulous exploration of overlooked aspects of the historical record and has written numerous bestselling books including These Truths: A History of the United States (2018) and We the People: A History of the U.S. Constitution (2025).
