Jessie Hartland
Jessie Hartland is a New York City-based artist, writer, and illustrator renowned for her innovative children's books, particularly nonfiction titles like How the Dinosaur Got to the Museum, Bon Appetit! The Delicious Life of Julia Child, and Steve Jobs: Insanely Great!. Originally from Washington, D.C., and an alumna of the Boston Museum School/Tufts, she has also created commercial art including murals, window displays for Barneys and Bloomingdales, and illustrations for magazines and products.
