Jerry Whitaker

Jerry C. Whitaker is a prominent figure in television standards and video production, serving as Vice President of Standards Development at the Advanced Television Systems Committee (ATSC) from 2000 to 2025 and currently working as an industry consultant.[1][3][4] He previously owned Technical Press publishing company from 1991 to 2000 and has authored key texts such as the Master Handbook of Video Production.[1][5][6] Whitaker has played a crucial role in developing ATSC 3.0 standards for Next Gen TV.[3]
