Jeremy Smith

Jeremy Smith is a historian and professor of Russian History and Politics at the University of Eastern Finland, known for his monograph 'Red Nations' which chronicles the experience of non-Russian nationalities in and after the USSR. He previously served as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Birmingham and a Visiting Professor at the University of Michigan, focusing his research on Soviet nationalities, the South Caucasus, and Central Asia.
