Jennifer Spinks

Jenny Spinks is a Hansen Associate Professor in History at the University of Melbourne, where she has taught since 2017. She specializes in early modern European history, with research focusing on polemical print culture and wonders and prodigy culture. Born into a Quaker family in England in 1951, she later moved to Australia in 1984 and worked as a Nurse/Midwife before pursuing her academic career.
