Jeffrey K Smith

Jeffrey K. Smith is a professor of education at the University of Otago in New Zealand, specializing in art, aesthetics, learning in museums, and school assessment. He formerly spent 19 years at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City and 29 years at Rutgers University, where he served as Chair of Educational Psychology and Head of Research and Evaluation. He is the author of over 100 research articles and multiple books on the psychology of aesthetics and museum education.
