Jean-Rae Turner

Jean Turner is an astronomer and professor at the University of California, Los Angeles, known for research on the gaseous environments of young super star clusters, star formation, molecular clouds, and the interstellar medium. She earned her A.B. from Harvard University and her Ph.D. from UC Berkeley, and has also contributed to the development and commissioning of major millimeter/submillimeter observatories including ALMA.
