Jean-Pierre Isbouts
Dr. Jean-Pierre Isbouts is a humanities scholar, bestselling author, award-winning filmmaker, and Professor Emeritus at Fielding Graduate University in Santa Barbara, California, specializing in European history, biblical archaeology, the culture of the Near East, and Renaissance art. Born in Eindhoven, Netherlands, in 1954, he gained worldwide renown with his 2006 international bestseller The Biblical World, followed by National Geographic titles like In the Footsteps of Jesus (2011) and The Story of Christianity (2014). He has also produced documentaries such as Searching for the Historical Jesus and lives in Santa Monica, California.
