Jean Edward Smith

Jean Edward Smith was an American biographer and political scientist known for acclaimed biographies of major U.S. figures, especially presidents. He was the John Marshall Professor of Political Science at Marshall University and authored 14 books, including works that reexamined the reputations of overlooked presidents.[1][4]
