Jay O Sanders
Jay O. Sanders (born April 16, 1953) is an American actor, playwright, and narrator renowned for his extensive work in theater, film, and television. He originated the role of Bradley in Sam Shepard's Pulitzer Prize-winning play *Buried Child* (1978), made his Broadway debut in *Loose Ends* (1979), and has starred in notable productions including *Purlie Victorious* (2023) and films like *The Day After Tomorrow* (2004) and *JFK* (1991); he also authored the play *Unexplored Interior* about the 1994 Rwandan genocide. Sanders is a frequent narrator for PBS series such as *Nova* and *Wide Angle*.
