Jasper Fforde
Jasper Fforde is a British novelist born in London on January 11, 1961, best known for his Thursday Next series, which began with the bestselling The Eyre Affair in 2001. After working 20 years in the film industry on films like GoldenEye and Entrapment, he turned to writing absurdist fiction blending literary allusions, parody, and fantasy. He lives in Wales and has authored series like Nursery Crime, Shades of Grey, and The Last Dragonslayer, with his 18th novel Dark Reading Matter published in 2025.
