Jason Zimba
Jason Zimba is a mathematician and educator best known as the lead writer of the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics. He holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics and astrophysics from Williams College, a master's in mathematics from the University of Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar, and a Ph.D. in mathematical physics from UC Berkeley; he previously taught physics and mathematics at Bennington College and co-founded Student Achievement Partners in 2007.[1][2][5]
