Jason Frye

Jason Frye is a veteran travel and food writer based in Wilmington, North Carolina, since 2002, when he moved there to pursue an MFA in Creative Writing from UNC Wilmington.[1][2][3] Raised in the mountains of West Virginia, he first fell in love with North Carolina during childhood family vacations to the Outer Banks and has since authored over 20 editions of Moon travel guides, including Moon North Carolina, Moon Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and Moon Blue Ridge Parkway Road Trip.[1][4] A member of the Society of American Travel Writers, he contributes to publications like Our State magazine, Southern Living, and the Wilmington StarNews, focusing on the American South's culture, food, and outdoors.[2][6]
