Janine Canan

Janine Canan (born Janine Burford) was an American poet, essayist, story writer, translator, and editor who also served as a holistic psychiatrist in California. She graduated from Stanford University cum laude in 1963 and published over 20 books, including poetry collections and works on spirituality and the divine feminine. Canan died in 2020 at the age of 77.
