Janet Sternburg

Janet Sternburg is a polymath artist born in Boston in 1943 who works as a fine art photographer, literary writer, filmmaker, and educator. She has written two memoirs, *Phantom Limb* and *White Matter*, and began her photography practice in 1998 using early iPhones and disposable cameras to capture what she calls 'living perception.' Her work has been exhibited internationally, and her monograph *Overspilling World* was published by Distanz Verlag in 2016.
