Jane Thayer

Jane Thayer was the pen name of Catherine Woolley (1904–2005), an American children's writer best known for The Puppy Who Wanted a Boy. She wrote 86 children's books, and several of her works, including The Blueberry Pie Elf and The Popcorn Dragon, became classics.
