Jane McDermid

Dr Jane McDermid is an Emeritus Fellow in History at the University of Southampton specializing in 19th and 20th century British and Russian history, with a particular focus on gender history. She has co-authored multiple scholarly works on Russian women, including Revolutionary Women in Russia 1870-1917 and Women and Work in Russia 1880-1930, establishing herself as a leading expert on women's roles in Russian revolutionary movements and social change.
