Jane Belk Moncure
Jane Belk Moncure (December 16, 1926 – July 30, 2013) was an American author specializing in early childhood non-fiction, fiction, and poetry. She is best known for her Magic Castle Readers series, including titles like A Colour Clown Comes to Town, Dragon in a Wagon, and Hop-Skip Jump-A-Roo Zoo, some of which were adapted into CD-ROMs. She lived in Virginia and North Carolina and wrote under pseudonyms such as Bruce Wannamaker, Mary Thornton Blanton, and Jennie Davis.[1][2][4]
