James Sullivan

James Sullivan was born and raised in Quincy, Massachusetts, and holds an MFA from the Iowa Writers' Workshop. He is a journalist and author specializing in popular culture, Americana, and travel, with contributions to publications like The New York Times, National Geographic Traveler, and the Boston Globe. He lives with his family outside Portland, Maine, and has written books including memoirs about Vietnam and works on American history.
