James Strong

James Strong (1822–1894) was an American Methodist biblical scholar, educator, and theologian best known for creating Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible. He taught at Troy University and later served for nearly 25 years as professor of exegetical theology at Drew Theological Seminary, where he became one of the institution’s most influential faculty members.
