James L Swanson
James L. Swanson was an American author and historian best known for the New York Times best seller "Manhunt: The 12-Day Chase for Lincoln's Killer," which recounts the pursuit of John Wilkes Booth after Abraham Lincoln's assassination. He also wrote extensively on U.S. presidential history, including books about Lincoln and the assassination of John F. Kennedy, and won an Edgar Award for "Manhunt."
