James Joyce
James Joyce was an Irish novelist, poet, and literary critic regarded as one of the most influential writers of the 20th century. He is best known for his experimental use of language and stream-of-consciousness technique, particularly in his landmark novel Ulysses (1922) and his final work Finnegans Wake (1939). His major works include the short-story collection Dubliners (1914) and the novel A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man (1916).
