James Jones

James Ramon Jones (November 6, 1921 – May 9, 1977) was an American novelist renowned for his groundbreaking World War II fiction, particularly his debut novel *From Here to Eternity*, which won the 1952 National Book Award and was adapted into an Academy Award-winning film.
