James J. Ross

James J. Ross appears to be the same as James Ross (1911–1990), an American fiction author and journalist. He was born in rural Stanly County, North Carolina, worked for newspapers including the Savannah Morning News and Greensboro Daily News, and is best known for his only published novel, "They Don't Dance Much" (1940), an early example of rural noir.
