James Henry Bennet

James Henry Bennett was born in 1850 in Luton, England, and baptised at St. Mary's Parish Church on June 8 that year. He worked as a straw hat blocker, living with his family in Luton as recorded in the 1871, 1881, and 1911 censuses, and married Anne in 1875. He is noted in local history as associated with the straw plaiting industry in Luton.
