James H. Liu

James H. Liu was a professor of psychology at Massey University in New Zealand and previously taught at Victoria University of Wellington, where he became Professor and Co-Director of the Centre for Applied Cross-Cultural Research. His research focused on social, cross-cultural, and political psychology, especially social representations of history, identity politics, and the effects of digital media on political engagement and mental health. He was also active in international scholarly organizations and described himself as a "Chinese-American-New Zealander."
