James F. Masterson

James F. Masterson was an American psychiatrist known for his influential work on the diagnosis and treatment of personality disorders, especially borderline and narcissistic personality disorder. He directed the Masterson Group and the Masterson Institute and authored several books on psychoanalytic approaches to character disorders and adolescents.
