James F. Doyle

James F. Doyle is a Professor Emeritus of Aeronautics and Astronautics at Purdue University, specializing in experimental mechanics, wave propagation, and inverse problems using finite element methods.[1][5] He earned his Dipl. Eng. from Dublin Institute of Technology in 1972, M.Sc. from University of Saskatchewan in 1974, and Ph.D. from University of Illinois in 1977.[1][4] Doyle has authored books on nonlinear analysis of thin-walled structures and static/dynamic analysis of structures.[6]
