James E. Kelley

James E. Kelley, Jr. is a mathematician and computer and management consultant who has also studied the history of European cartography and navigation in late-medieval times. He has written extensively on navigation history and Columbus’s first voyage, and served as a consultant to the National Geographic Society’s 1986 effort to identify Samana Cay as the site of Columbus’s first landing.
