James Cross Giblin
James Cross Giblin was an American children’s author and editor known for his engaging nonfiction, historical nonfiction, and biographies for young readers. Born in Cleveland and raised in Painesville, Ohio, he wrote more than 20 books and won honors including the National Book Award for children’s literature and the Sibert Medal.
