James C Scott

James C. Scott was an American political scientist and anthropologist known for influential work on agrarian societies, peasant resistance, and the modern state. He was a Sterling Professor at Yale University and authored landmark books including "Weapons of the Weak," "Seeing Like a State," and "Against the Grain."
