James C. Malin

James Claude Malin (1893–1979) was an American historian and professor of history who taught at the University of Kansas for over four decades and served as president of the Kansas Historical Society[1]. He is best known as a distinguished historian of the Great Plains and the American West, publishing nearly 15 books and more than 90 articles on diverse subjects including Indian policy, technology, and historical methodology[1][7][8].
